Here are some random things about me. What can I say? I'm quirky.1. I love the smell of Diet Coke
2 I love little restaurants that are one of a kind. Give me that over a chain restaurant any day!
3. I have been told no less than one hundred times in my life, “Wow, your eyes are really blue! Is that your natural eye color?” FYI… it is.
4. One of my life goals is to milk a cow.
5. In sixth grade, I won the school spelling bee. I still have the trophy.
6. I am afraid of small spaces, heights, and calling people on the phone.
7. I have a dangerously high chocolate tolerance.
8. I spend every weekday with a group of second graders. They have started to rub off on me. Just ask my sisters.
9. I was born in a foreign country, but I promise I’m an American citizen.
10. I’m half Dutch, and proud of it!
11. I brush my teeth with warm water.
12. I consider politics a hobby.
13. I get a thrill out of checking things off a list.
14. I’m tired pretty much all the time, but I try to hide it.
15. I dance to relieve stress.
16. I fall down a lot.
17. I love the atmosphere of coffee shops.
18. I love to visit new places and meet new people.
19. Chocolate covered strawberries and caramel covered apples are two of my very favorite treats.
20. I don’t especially like change.
21. Sometimes I leave my room in the morning without making my bed…
22. I have a secret desire to be famous.
23. I hate the feeling that I’m wasting time.
24. I have an obsession with office supplies. I could spend hours in the post-it aisle.
25. I often think in movie quotes.
26. I hate it when people say “funner.” Oh, and when they can’t spell. My second graders will definitely know how to spell when they leave my class!
27. I’m shy, and I like to take a “social buffer” (i.e. someone who can talk a lot about anything) with me when I’m in situations with lots of people I don’t know.
28.I love eating healthy food. Sometimes I crave fruit. I also love sushi.
29. I can’t stand to touch velour. It sends shivers up and down my spine.
30. I enjoy grocery shopping.
31. I am afraid of roller coasters that go upside down.
32. I love going to baseball games!
