Easter Sunday Thought

He is risen, he is risen!

Tell it out with joyful voice.

He has burst his three days' prison,

Let the whole wide earth rejoice.

Death is conquered; man is free,

Christ hath won the victory.

Happy Easter

You're my tiny ball of light

Yesterday my sisters and I watched Harry Potter. We LOVED it! We took lots of pauses to explain what was happening to my mom.
"Wait, is he a good guy or a bad guy?"
"I'm totally lost again."
It's much, much easier to follow the movie if you've read the book. Trust me.

After the movie, we gathered 'round the computer to watch this montage from the Oscars.
HIL-arious!

What's your favorite segment? I love the Harry Potter and Twilight parts. "He doesn't need a shirt." Bah ha ha!

This is what I do for fun

I go to lectures at art museums where my former AP Art History teacher is speaking.

I'm tellin' ya, it was awesome. I would repeat high school just for the chance to be in Ms. Hughes's class again.

Ms. Hughes spoke all about this. It was fascinating.

Taking a time out

Some days, even grown ups need a time out.

Today I stayed home from work because I was one sick girl.

No joke. The only thing I've had to eat in two days is Sprite and saltines.

But now I'm feeling a little better and I'm ready to step back into real life.

Special thanks to my mom and dad who drove to my apartment last night to take care of me and keep me company. My mom washed dishes, did laundry, and wandered my apartment looking for other things she could do to help me while my dad made an emergency run to 7-eleven for the aforementioned Sprite and saltines.

I am so grateful for them both.
