Tomorrow is going to be one AMAZING game!

I personally will be partying it up at a ward tailgate party and then watching the game with my dad. He bleeds redder than anyone you've ever met. Tonight he's 'gearing up' for the big game by watching reruns of past games and cable specials about the "rivalry." I absolutely love it!

My car is dying. I mean really dying. It's more money to fix it than the car is actually worth. And the heater died last week. You really think things can't get any worse... and then your heater/furnace dies.

BUT...

I've been saving for a new car, and I'm finally ready to buy one. That's a little silver lining, right?

I can't decide which one to get. I welcome your input.

First silver linings:

1. Three parents thanked me at conferences for being a great teacher and for being patient with their child. It's nice to know there are people who notice.

2. I got to celebrate my wonderful sister's 14th birthday with her last night. She is such a doll!

See? I knew they'd be there. I'll keep looking.

The past month seems like it's been one disappointment after another. Yet another disappointment was added to the list just tonight.

So, I'm on the lookout for silver linings. They have to be hidden there somewhere - and I'm on a mission to find them. In the midst of the disappointment, there's bound to be some good things. Stay tuned.

I got really excited when in my blog surfing today I came across this. Someday, this would make the perfect finishing touch for a wedding dress. Isn't it gorgeous?

Have you ever accidentally gone on a date? This Friday marked the second time this funny/slightly embarrassing situation has happened to me. Maybe I should pay better attention.

But it sure was a lot of fun.
